As the voice of businesses in Cootehill and its surrounding areas, Cootehill Chamber lobbies locally and nationally directly through Chambers Ireland and Eurochambres to represent the views of its members to local and national government. As such, Cootehill Chamber is involved in ongoing lobbying campaigns to address key issues such as planning processes for new developments (civil and commercial), shop local initiatives to support local businesses and keep Cootehill’s town centre vibrant, issues arising from required infrastructural repairs such as potholes and connectivity, and encouraging inward investment into Cootehill.
